"I love what I do and have learned to only commit to what brings me joy or excitement"

We live in a society that can mistake a busy individual as being productive, when in reality, a difference can be made between the two. Sometimes even we ourselves can fall trap to this because let's be honest, it would be great to get many things done all at the same time.
When you find yourself getting interrupted, having to do multiple things at once and eventually not being to complete anything, you're only busy. On the other hand, having some type of organization on lock, prioritize what needs to get done first and finding more things to check off on your list, you're busy and productive!
I give this brief intro to better explain why we are highlighting this feautured Influential. I've known Marisol for a few years now, and it still amazes me how much she can accomplish when she sets her mind to it. She's a mom of 3, has a regular job, she's an amazing dot connector in the health industry, and still has time to put social events together.
Not many would be able to handle having so much to do at a given time, but Marisol on the other hand, is able to get everything done and giving it her all. I could go on and on about her, but I'll let you get reading to get to know her a bit more!

The basics: Who is Marisol? Where did you grow up and where do you currently reside?

Hi! I was raised in Norco (Horse Town USA) it’s a small town north of Corona, California. Very country vibes. I currently live in Lake Elsinore and I love it. People don’t believe me but we have a quaint little town with a baseball team, great local food, breweries and wineries oh and sky diving! I love it here.

It’s hard to imagine you having any spare time. You seem like you’re always on the go, always doing something. But when things do wind down, what do you enjoy doing?

Since COVID I’ve learned to enjoy things I’ve forgotten about, such as roller skating, reading on my front porch, astrology, gardening, sitting in my sauna, calling an old friend and catching bugs with my 3 year old. Life’s definitely a balance act!

I’ve known you for a few years now, and it amazes me how you’re able to multitask with family, work and everything else you do in between! Does it ever get too much?

I hear this a lot! But I never feel like it’s too much. I love what I do and have learned to only commit to what brings me joy or excitement. I honestly don’t ever feel like it’s too much. On the contrary sometimes I feel like I can take more. Usually it’s when my creativity isn’t being met. Like you Anne, I love staying busy and creative! It makes me happy!

A lot of the Influential Individuals we interviewed in the past had a different career path before being where they are now. Was it the same for you? Is what you’re doing now always been what you wanted to do?

I’ve always known I wanted to be in the health industry. It just evolved from where I started. 16 years ago as a massage therapist I just knew there was no cap, haha I knew I could always do more and help more people!

You're very involved in the holistic world and natural healing. How did you get started with this lifestyle?

After trade school I worked with a chiropractor who opened my eyes to natural healing. He worked on professional athletes and celebrities and I saw how incredible the right minerals, food, water and self care are to the body. We can heal anything with the right combination. This was very eye opening to me, and it just sparked a passion. It led me to meet the most amazing healers who truly devote their life to helping others rather than selling or making money (like modern medicine) it’s beautiful.

Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?

I see myself working with passionate people ready to shift the health industry globally! We are coming together more and more and I know we can make a difference in the worlds health and understanding of the human body. We are pretty incredible beings.

Define a go-getter.

Someone with a burning desire and purpose who doesn’t let anyone or thing get in the way of their vision.

What (or who) is your greatest inspiration?

It’s so hard to pin point to an actual person. For me it’s vitality and the way people shine when they are happy. Everyone deserves that

You’re talking to a group of admirers and people who find you as an inspiration. What is the best advice you can give them about following their dreams?

Whatever your dream is, never lose sight of it. Become obsessed with it and don’t allow anyone to put doubts or fears in your mind. Usually a dream evolves into a bigger vision. Just keep going! Sounds cliche but a dream is your purpose. It always pays off.

Isn't she great? I truly believe that Marisol will be a contributor towards the health industry shift in the forseeable future. With enough passion, commitment and determination, one can accomplish so much, and this amazing individual encompassess all three attributes. When there's a will, there's a way, so if you're not doing what you want to do yet, find what you're truly passionate about, stay focused and do what it takes to make sure you're get to do what you're intended to do in life :)

I hope her story inspires you to continue and do what you set your mind to, as well as only committing to what brings you joy and excitement!
